Maybe you’ve heard of proxy sites but have never used one. Or maybe you’re in a particular situation and thought that a proxy would be a good idea. Whatever your motive or modus operandi might be, you’ll find that sites offering proxy services make for excellent companions on the Internet. If you’ve never tried one before, here are a few reasons to start today.

Open and Online

Although many schools and institutions now feature free wireless Internet access, one big problem with those networks is that they tend to be severely limited. They commonly keep users from accessing sites like MySpace and Friendster, to the ire of many students. Even worse, some go so far as to banning more useful sites, simply because they’re not recognized and permitted by the network administrator.

But Internet users (collegiate ones in particular) can be very resourceful, hence the popularity of proxy sites today. They’re essentially near-empty domains that act as go-betweens for you and the sites you browse. You visit your favorite websites through the proxy site, and so work around the domain name policies set by the network administrator.

Should the network administrators decide to take a look at your browsing history, all they’ll see is the address of the proxy sites you used. This is really useful if you suddenly needed to visit banned or risky sites while in school or in the office. Your browsing records are safe from prying eyes ” especially the ones that belong to your teachers or bosses.

For Your Eyes Only

Avoiding awkward questions from teachers and bosses about your browsing activity is just one part of the deal. Many websites nowadays want to take note of your IP address and track your movements so that they can feed you better advertisements. If you’re the average Internet user, this is something you’ll want to avoid, especially with all the viruses and malware going around nowadays.

On top of that, third parties trying to keep tabs on your movements on the Internet will find it extremely difficult to follow you. That’s because they’ll end up seeing the IP address and details of the proxy that you used instead of your own. If you use different proxy sites for every browsing session, you could confuse trackers even more by taking on various IP addresses that point to places all over the world.

Do you visit sites that you’d prefer nobody else should know about? Are there parts of your Internet browsing habits that you’d rather not share with others? Proxy sites will help you achieve the kind of confidentiality and anonymity you want. The best part of it all is that you won’t even have to shell out a dime to be able to enjoy the privacy afforded by a proxy.

With the way technology and software has developed, it has become easy for anyone to monitor your activity on the Internet. It’s a disquieting thought, especially when you consider all the personal and private things you do online. Do you want to make your Internet browsing experience fun and worry-free? Proxy sites will be the only things you’ll need.

To make your Internet browsing even more private and secure, experts recommend using a different proxy site for every session. ProxySupply.com features a regularly updated list of all the best and latest proxy sites that’ll keep you surfing in private for a long, long time.

Flashback to 1986 A time where after meeting someone at a club you actually had to get their home phone number or hope that serendipity brought you back together. Missed connections and lost opportunities fueled a culture of regret and longing that in our current, “always connected” World has disappeared. Now the World is your oyster and singles from all over the World can find each other at the click of a mouse.

Ladies can benefit greatly from working in online dating into their romantic quest. Below are three of the benefits of taking your search to the Internet.

Determine Communication Prowess Early On – Since much of the process of online dating is writing emails and video chatting, good communication is an invaluable skill. Men that can communicate well during the courting process will make for better relationship material. Make sure you weigh this factor in your decision to move forward with someone. However, be ready for a barrage of jerky behavior and obscenities, as online dating also makes people less inhibited.

Less Pressure and More Flexibility – The good news is that for most of the online dating process you don’t ever have to get dolled up, wear makeup or even leave the comfort of your pajamas. Online dating gives women on the go the flexibility to engage in as much or as little communication at any given time. Email correspondence can be sent when you have time. Video mail and text messages allow you to communicate when it’s convenient. Video chats can be scheduled around work schedules. Also, you can avoid awkward first dates by already having something to discuss in person after corresponding for a few weeks.

More Selection, Expanded Dating Pool – Online dating makes the World your dating pool. Where you would normally be constrained to friends, friends of friends, co-workers and people you meet at a local bar, online dating lets you find someone from anywhere in the World. If you like travel and adventure, you could join an International Dating site where you could meet someone from another country.

Don’t Give Out Your Information – “Can I have your email?” “What’s your phone number?” There are questions you don’t have to answer on many reputable online dating sites. Many services offer you private emails, chats and even phone calling features. This way, if you meet someone you don’t click with, you don’t have to worry about them calling you or showing up at your apartment uninvited.

Online dating is the 21st century’s way of telling you that the World is your oyster. Get online and get to searching for your soul mate, no matter where he may be. Be safe and may love find you online.

Built on the premise that people shouldn’t have to constrain the quest for friends and soul mates to their hometown, the goal of Planet Love Match(TM) is to provide members with a safe and exciting atmosphere in which they can freely explore all types of human relationships, on their own schedule.

When it comes to window treatments, most people think of curtains, valances, blinds or shades. They use these not only to decorate their windows but they also like to use these to keep out the heat and to give them privacy from prying eyes. It is not often that they think of window shutters. The main reason for that is they associate shutters with the outside of the house.

Shutters can be used inside the home not just for privacy but to add some elegance to the room. There are a vast variety of shutters that can be used and it all depends upon what you are looking for and how you want the window shutters to accent your windows and the room they are in.

If your decision is a positive on installing interior shutters, listed below are a few things that you might need as well as some simple guidelines for you to follow when installing shutters inside your home.

You may not need all of these items and on the other hand you might need more, it all depends on the type of window shutters you decide to install. On the average you will need, a saw, screwdriver, tape measure, shutter hardware that comes with the shutters, paint, polyurethane, or stain.

The first thing that you are going to want to do before you begin to install the shutters for your windows, is decide upon which way that you want them mounted. Shutters can be mounted on the inside of the window frame or they can be hung on the outside of the frame. Since it is more difficult to hang them on the inside, the instructions on how to install them on the outside of the frame is indicated below.

The outside mount not only is easier, it is also a time saver. A nice thing about doing the outside mount is that you can choose whether the shutters are mounted going vertical or mounted going horizontally.

Take the hanging strips that should have come with your shutters and mount them along the sides of the window. The shutter panels are the next thing you will take care of. What you want to do is take face mount hinges and attach the panels together. It is important that you put a spacer between each shutter panel to make opening and closing them easier.

The next step is to take the hinges that came with the shutters and attach them to your window shutters. Make sure that you follow the directions that came from the manufacturer, these usually vary with every set of shutters. Now you will make sure that you mark holes on each hanging strip. This will indicate where the hinges need to be hung. Now take a drill and drill holes for the hinge screws.

After you have done this, it is time to hang the actual shutters, securely attaching them to the hanging strips.

One last thing, if you decided to purchase unfinished window shutters, it is a good idea that you paint them or stain them before you hang them. Also if you happen to have bought louvered ones, it will be easier if you spray the paint or stain on.

Whether you are looking for some privacy or a way to spruce up your windows, we offer a wide selection of blinds, draperies, and blinds Toronto to match your household comfort needs. Since 1981, we are dedicated to delivering excellent service and affordable products. Our customers deserve the best.

If you have been looking for the perfect way to update your home, window shutters can do the job. They add an air of sophistication to any home and add value at the same time. They can even be used to add a touch of curb appeal and make your home stand out from the rest of the homes in your neighborhood.

The leading window shutters are made from vinyl, wood and aluminum. As you begin your research into the perfect shutters for your home, you are going to find that certain materials are better for your climate, go better with your siding, or fit your budget better. Even ease of installation is dependent on the material you purchase.

For centuries, people have used wood shutters. Unlike draperies, originally they were used primarily for protection against animals, pests, and weather. Placed on hinges so they could swing open or shut, they could be latched to remain in the chosen position. They were simple to open for sunshine during the day and close during the evening and night hours.

Most shutters now days are permanently affixed in the open position, without hinges, to the outside sides of the windows. They are purely for decorative purposes. Wooden shutters may way more that some of the other types, but they are also much easier to change to color of. Simply scrape and repaint in the chosen color.

One of the most popular are vinyl shutters. They keep their color longer than wood, and have extensive warranties. They are lighter than wood and therefor easier to install. If you are working within a budget, these are not nearly as costly as many. They look fabulous from a distance, but if you get too close, tend to appear like cheap plastic. However, they are quite durable, especially the shutters that are molded as one piece.

Increasingly popular, aluminum shutters are seeing more use. They are becoming more cost effective and their maintenance is being decreased making them more attractive to the home buyer who doesn’t enjoy scraping and repainting very often. They also come in many different varieties and style to match any home, and they are literally available in hundreds of colors. For a truer color, they are powder coated. This also keeps the paint on longer resulting in long lasting beauty. If you choose aluminum for you window shutters, check the warranty carefully to make sure that the paint is also covered.

Whether you want the traditional look of louvered shutters, or are thinking about raised panels or even board and batter, you will find a wide variety of designs to choose from. Make sure the shutters you choose are going to complement your home the best. Also watch the color choice you make and take care to choose the perfect composition for your needs. After all, if you have recently restored your home, glaringly opposite shutters simply won’t work.

Whether you are choosing to purchase shutters for style or functionality either indoors or out, you are sure to find the perfect window shutters for you home. Make sure you check around for the best warranty for your window shutters. A little extra investment now can save you quite a bundle down the road. The hardest part may simply be deciding on just one style!

The best draperies and shutters are just around the corner! Whether you are just looking for some privacy or a way to spruce up your windows, we have a wide selection of Toronto draperies and Toronto shutters for you to choose from. We offer excellent service and product for very good prices.

Once in a while, we all get calls from a number we’re unfamiliar with. Perhaps you’ve missed some calls and you’re hoping that they’re coming from someone you want to speak with. You may also want to know who’s calling in order to avoid someone you don’t want to hear from.

Whatever your reasons are for wanting to find out who is on the other end of those calls, you need PhoneLookupReverse.com.

Why Would You Need A Reverse Cell Phone Lookup?

The tools on this site allow you to learn the name and often the address or alternate contact information for the people who’ve been calling you from unknown numbers. When you can find out the identity of your callers and know how to contact them, it’s easy to stop annoying prank callers. If you think that your spouse may be sneaking around behind your back, this site can also help you find out what’s going on.

There are many ways that a reverse phone lookup can be useful. The first thing to do if you want to learn more about mystery callers is to find a service that can deliver what you need. Many free reverse phone lookup sites are around, but nearly all of them have only listed landline numbers in their database – meaning that in this day and age, they’re not that useful.

Can You Really Get Anything of Value for Free?

As opposed to settling for second-rate service, you should utilize PhoneLookupReverse.com . Since our directories include cell phone numbers, you can perform useful searches to find the information that you need. Mobile directories are creating by inputting the information manually, which takes extensive time and money, so free sites are highly unlikely to provide such a service.

The tradeoff is that there is a nominal fee charged to help cover the costs of building and maintaining these databases. Landline numbers are a matter of public record and can be easily collected and put into databases, making it easy to provide this information free of charge.

To use the resources offered by PhoneLookupReverse.com, you simply have to fill out a brief registration form to sign up; it’s quick and easy to join.

PhoneLookupReverse.com gives you a great value for the cost.

After you have registered, you may begin your reverse cell phone lookup simply by entering the area code and phone number in question. Upon clicking the “Search” button, our lightning-quick system will locate the appropriate record in our database of millions of true cell phone records (a service which many sites boast, but generally only offer links to true directories).

In a couple of seconds, the system searches through its list of millions of cell phone and unpublished numbers and shows you any matches. Along with the information in the site’s database, you can also access people search databases to dig deeper. If the information you’re looking for isn’t in the system, you don’t have to pay a thing! The site provides a money back guarantee.

When you need to find out who’s been calling you, you have to find a reverse phone lookup service that can give you the information you’re looking for; and PhoneLookupReverse.com is one of the best. To try it out for yourself, just click below.

It’s easy to perform a FREE Reverse Phone Lookup! Simply visit our site and type in the phone number to find out who the owner is and within seconds you will know who called.

Someone stole my brother’s identity ten years ago. In a week, he was hit with four $300 charges, and the bank wasn’t too happy with him. After a few days they finally sided with him and cancelled those charges from ravaging his credit and gave him new bank account information.

The really scary thing about this whole experience is that someone out there in the real world was walking around, claiming to be my brother, and because he or she had just enough personal and financial information to get by, no one could prove this stranger to be otherwise.

My brother reached out and handled his problems himself, despite the fact that his credit still gets hammered by fake charges once in a while. No question, my brother was lucky.

Identity theft is the scariest Internet crime. It costs millions of dollars to millions of people worldwide every year and soaks up hours upon hours of frustrating phone calls to halt payment on fraudulent purchases. In the past few years, several businesses have sprung up to help protect consumers all over the world, taking advantage of fear to scrape together a load of cash. You can even join in for a monthly fee.

No Tracking

Businesses offering protection against identity theft do not allow consumers to look at how effective their services are or whether they even help in the slightest.

The main appeal is their systematic checking of your credit scores so nothing odd comes through your account without you being aware of it. That’s not particularly special, though; anyone can check their credit report. So beyond this, what exactly do these businesses do?

There is no good answer to this question, which bothers every consumer who dares to pay these businesses money for theoretical security. Since there are no methods to tracking their actions, you have to accept everything they tell you as fact. The only way to measure their success is to consider if your identity has been stolen since you began working with them. If not, then it stands to reason that the new security must have paid off, right?

No, actually. There’s no way you’ll ever know.

What Features?

Protection against identity theft can bear prices both high and low, though neither type has its services explained completely. Now, consider this: almost everything these companies offer to do for you, you can do even better, for less cash. Why let someone else do it when it’s just within your reach. If you have some spare time to devote to keeping tabs on your credit report, you can do just as well.

Identity theft is certainly scary, and protection is important, but doing racking up bills through a third party company doesn’t equate to safety and security.

Preventing identity fraud needs to be considered carefully. If perhaps you are tired of worrying, learn more about how you can maximize your protection against identity theftand which services you can purchase to assist you. Make sure to get all of your advise from reputable sources to be sure you get nothing but the truth.

Are you having trouble browsing certain websites at school or work because your network adminstrator uses a firewall or web filtering software to block websites that are deemed unsuitable for the work or study environment especially those in the social networking and online gaming categories. One simple way to get around this censorship is to use a web proxy.

A proxy acts as a gateway between the requested web server and your computer. The proxy server retrieve the web pages you want to surf and send it to your computer. Proxies help to protect your online privacy by hiding your IP address. Your IP address can reveal identifiable personal information about you such as your geographical location and your internet service provider. When you surf the internet through a proxy server, other parties see only the IP address of the proxy server and your real IP is hidden.

A proxy is also a useful tool to bypass internet censorship. Some websites only allow their content to be viewed by visitors from specific geographical locations. To access such restricted content, you can use a proxy to make those websites think that you are coming from a region where content access should be allowed.

In this age of online social networking, the need to visit social sites like MySpace, FaceBook, YouTube have become a routine activity for today’s teens and young adults. A significant portion of proxy users are school students who seek to unblock websites filtered by their network systems. The increase in internet censorship has contributed to the rise in demand for proxy service.

A web proxy is an easy to use and simple solution to help you bypass internet censorship. Using a good working myspace proxy can help you unblock myspace at school or work and connect with friends and family.

Looking for a new myspace proxy to help you unblock myspace at school or work, please visit freedom.2surf.org for a list of new web proxies.

Crosscut document shredders are high-tech paper shredders. Although they are more expensive and requiring more power and maintenance, they are far more efficient than strip cut shredding machines. Crosscut paper shredders cut paper into hard to decipher confetti shapes making them better at keeping confidential documents safe. They can shred up to 3 metres of paper at a single time.

Cross cut document shredding machines come equipped with a heavy-duty motor that can cut harder documents such as credit cards. The shredders that come equipped with various feeder sizes with nine inches being the most widespread. With these heavy duty shredding machines the paper shreds turn out to be more or less four millimetres and approximately 350 details can be destroyed without taking a break.

All cross cut paper shredders have a built in safe sensor that is patented. The sensor is used to avoid a mishap with operators hands. There are also switches that start the document shredding machine and tell the paper shredder which way to run the paper.

Document blockages are less common with cross cut paper shredding machines. Blockages are easily avoided due to the wheels of the motor being in line. When documents do block the paper shredding machine will sound an alarm and quit running so as to give the user a chance to unjam the machine. Waste baskets are normally built in for containing loose shreds on the output end of the paper shredder.

Many paper shredding machines motors are quiet and can be kept in the reception area of an office. A number of paper shredders can also have a large rubbish bag attached to the shredder to hold more shreds than the conventional basket.

Two different revolving drums make the cross cut paper shredding machine the best option for shredding highly sensitive records. Documents are cut into the majority different shapes including rectangles, diamonds and parallelograms. The tear up nearly everyone used for the most confidential records is the diamond destroy as it is the hardest to restore.

The cost of the cross-cut document shredding machine is well worth it when you take into account the extra protection.

by Linda Shurtantai

While the majority firms are looking at minimizing their expenses when it comes to office equipment, the extra amount spent on a cross cut document shredding machine is fully worthwhile. They do involve more preventative maintenance and energy, they will easily keep private papers confidential. The document is put out into small rectangular shapes that keep document from being put back together. The paper shredding machines can cut up to 20 feet of documents in a single sitting.

Cross cut shredding machines are equipped with a heavy-duty motor that can cut harder papers such as credit cards. The ones that are equipped with various feeder sizes with nine inches being the most common. With these heavy duty paper shredding machines the paper shreds turn out to be roughly one sixth of an inch and almost 350 documents can be destroyed without taking a break.

All crosscut document shredding machines have a built in safe sensor that is patented. The sensor is used to avoid a mishap happening with hands. There are also switches that start the document shredder and tell the shredding machine which way to run the paper.

There is a lesser chance of documents getting jammed in a cross-cut document shredder due to the fact that the wheels are in line. If there is a document jam the document shredding machine will stop running and set off an alarm so that the user can swiftly fix the problem. Most document shredders come with a built in six gallon capacity waste basket for the shreds.

Shredding machines are now quiet and can be kept anywhere within an office including the reception area without worrying in the region of noise from the machine interrupting every day business. For the offices with more than a regular amount of document to be shredded a large trash bag can be attached to the paper shredding machines to hold the excess paper.

A cross-cut document shredding machines uses two different revolving drums that turn in opposite directions. They cut document into rectangle shaped shreds that make it virtually impossible to restore the original document. The most secure cut shape is the diamond cut. The diamond cut is the most difficult to recreate making it great for shredding highly confidential data.

Even though regular strip cut shredding machines are less expensive, the safety of cross cut paper shredding machines easily offsets the costs. Cross-cut document shredding machines are by far the best on the market because of the way document is shredded through its rotating drums. While all shredding machines will get the job done, the normal cut up strips are easily put back together. For the best in secrecy, cross-cut shredders are the way to go.

It can pass as the most widely used means of self expression on the internet today. Web Logs or blogs as widely known have become an integral part of the way people propagate ideas, concepts, products and services without fear of breaking the rules or a code of conduct. Blogs are used by individuals and organizations to post information from news, opinions, gossip and photos about business, politics, economy and communities.

Blogs are here , there and everywhere. Their growth in numbers and prevalence to say the least is almost sky-high. Yet who is minding the store .? Are your employees “blogging behind your back” ? about corporate secrets ?

In spite of the fact held , by most business people over the age of 40 , that having a web page , and hosting a webpage is an expensive matter this is not so. Such “authorities ” are misinformed to say the least. You might even hear them say about some crackpot relative “Where does he get off having his own webpage ?” , this is downright wrong. A blog is of little cost , or in most cases free of charge. If you can type on a standard office word processor – such as Microsoft Office , or Open Office , then you are entirely capable of being the webmaster of a blog. Failing that there is no law saying that you can not post comments on other people blogs , replying to their questions , concerns and postings. The employee posting blog replies may think that they are doing a good and valuable tasking – simply adding value and information to any given blog.

Employers need to be wary of their employees blogging activities. Current and former employees may use blogs to among other things engage in copyright violations, defamation’s, reprisals or even divulge corporate strategy and trade secrets to competitors.

In order to protect your business from damaging employee blogs and to reduce the risk of falling to bloggers damaging content, the following steps would be advisable;

Believe it or not , there are organizations out there , whose management view their role in life is to protect their perks and privileges . Any open concerns and discussion is seen by this form of management as a personal attack on them , or a direct threat to their apparent power and position. Its a matter of no matter what “I will teach you who is boss” ( often at great expense to corporate morale and profitability ). It is hard to imagine a greater means of creating dissension , hostility and even anger in the ranks.

Secondly, reference blogging in employee policy handbooks to promote responsible blogging. If your employees are already in the blogging culture; insist that employees place disclaimers on their personal blogs

The amount of time and effort spent , should you have a raging bonfire of a loss of private trade data , or procedures can be immense. All in all its a waste of time. It can be said that some management levels actually like to fight and even create “fires” as a means of justification of their existence and pay. Would it not be smarter from the very start to have clear policy procedures in place , including a signed non-disclosure document , clearly listing rules ,proceedings and a time line after leaving the employee ? Large corporations do this as a simple matter of routine . Should not this be your established pattern as well ?

Blogs in today’s business world are a two edged sword. Used well they can promote your business , organization and website presence. Your awareness on the world wide web can improve , you can develop targeted niche customers and followers. You can enhance your corporate , company or groups inherent image immensely. Blogs involve customers in a community – both for good for bad. They may even see your product or service as “theirs” and “theirs to uphold and protect”. All in all in the internet marketing world these weblogs are playing an increasing role in search engine positioning , whether it is the search engine ranking results (SERPs) of Google, Yahoo & Bing (formerly MSN ). Why take a chance of a loose cannon diminishing all your careful efforts . Monitor your employee’s blogs. Take the time to set standards and rules when it comes to hirelings, operatives and former staff employee members , when it comes to online blogs and blogging.
