Where Is Your True Friend?
There is an old proverb that “A friend in need is a friend indeed”. It means that a true friend will always help you when you are in trouble, unlike those who vanish right away. Some people may have a wrong interpretation of this saying. It is sometimes misunderstood as “a person who needs help from you will become your friend.” So, you may ask who your true friend is.
You will not be short of friends. However, it is difficult to find a true one. Even if you have hundreds of friends, they will not give you a hand when you are in trouble if they are not your true friends.

We can’t deny that we often make friends based on some purposes. For examples, we make friends on the internet because we are bored and we make friends with the opposite sex because we want to search for a partner. However, friendships that are based on mutual interests and similarities would usually last longer than those that are made based on other purposes as mentioned above.
